The carbon emission of your travel, your holiday and the operation of Balatontourist Camping & Bungalows Füred is 100% neutralized on the global level.

How is it possible?

At our behest an internationally certified auditor measured our yearly carbon emission. We have bought the equivalent carbon quota to support an Indian wind power plant project. Through this, as the first campsite in the world, we have managed to reduce our carbon footprint to zero on the global level.

What adjustments have we made at the campsite?

The swimming pool water is heated by solar cells. Hot water in the showers is produced using solar energy. Waste is collected and brought to selective waste courts with electric cars. The lawn at the beach is watered by a rain-sensing irrigation system. The premises are lit by energy saving bulbs. We have also planted new trees. We will adhere to green solutions in the future as well.
